PlanYourTrip offers free online tools for travel planning:

  • Planner — Trip planner for round trips with route planning, schedule, and budget
  • Discover — Discovering travel destinations, trips, and collections
  • Travelmap — Personal travel map and country tracking
  • AI Travel Advisor — AI-powered travel recommendations (Chat)

The services are provided free of charge and without guarantee of availability. We reserve the right to change, expand, or discontinue features at any time.

3. Registration and Account

Certain features (e.g., saving trips, sharing with friends) require a free registration. You are responsible for the security of your access data. We are not liable for unauthorized access to your account resulting from insufficient protection of your access data.

4. Usage Rights and Content

Your Content

Travel plans, notes, and other content that you create on PlanYourTrip belong to you. You grant us a simple usage right to store, display, and share your content as part of our service with authorized persons.

If you share a travel plan publicly, it may be viewed by other users.

Anonymized Use of Your Travel Data

By using PlanYourTrip, you agree that we may use your travel data (routes, travel destinations, lengths of stay, travel times) in anonymized form — especially for travel recommendations to other users, statistical evaluations, editorial content, and the improvement of our services. Our Content

Texts, graphics, logos, and software from PlanYourTrip are protected by copyright. Reproduction or use outside the intended use requires our consent.

5. AI Travel Advisor

The AI Travel Advisor generates travel recommendations based on Artificial Intelligence. These recommendations serve solely as inspiration and guidance. We do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of AI-generated content. In particular:

  • Prices, hours of operation, and availability may vary
  • Entry requirements and safety advisories must be checked independently
  • You make travel decisions at your own risk

6. Affiliate Links and Partner Recommendations

PlanYourTrip contains affiliate links to travel partners (including Booking.com, Expedia, Omio, Skyscanner). When bookings are made through these links, we receive a commission. The price for you remains unchanged. Affiliate links are marked as such.

The mediation occurs exclusively between you and the respective partner. The terms of the respective partner apply to bookings, cancellations, and complaints.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

PlanYourTrip is a planning tool — not a tour operator or travel agent. We accept no liability for:

  • The accuracy of distances, travel times, and route information
  • Availability and prices of accommodations, transport, or activities
  • Damage resulting from the use of travel planning or AI recommendations
  • Data loss due to technical malfunctions (regular exporting is recommended)

Liability for intent and gross negligence remains unaffected.

8. Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee it. Maintenance work, technical malfunctions, or force majeure may lead to temporary restrictions. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted use.

9. Prohibited Use

The following uses are prohibited:

  • Automated reading or scraping of content
  • Misuse of the AI Travel Advisor for non-travel-related purposes
  • Distribution of unlawful, offensive, or misleading content
  • Disruption of the technical infrastructure

We reserve the right to block access in the event of violations.

10. Changes to the Terms of Use

We reserve the right to change these terms of use at any time. We will inform you of significant changes on our website. Continued use after changes shall be deemed acceptance.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The jurisdiction is Leipzig, as far as legally permissible.
